Jan. 31, 2020
The deadline for Microgrid 2020 early registration is fast approaching: January 31. If you register by this date, you receive a $400 discount to attend the world’s largest microgrid industry event, to be held June 2-3 in Philadelphia, Pa.

Today is the deadline to register to receive a $400 advanced registration discount to the world’s largest microgrid conference and expo, Microgrid 2020.

Sponsored by Microgrid Knowledge, this year’s conference will be held June 2-3 in Philadelphia, Pa. The conference will focus on microgrids, distributed energy and electrification in both advanced and developing economies.

Microgrid Knowledge is pleased to announce that Philadelphia Mayor James Francis Kenney will be among the featured speakers.

Industry leaders and microgrid customers will gather to meet prospects and partners from throughout the world.

Through expert keynotes, panel discussions, workshops, specialized roundables, technology exhibits and tours, conference participants will learn about a dramatic surge in microgrid development over the last year, driven by natural disasters — such as California’s wildfires — as well as a growing understanding of the economic and environmental advantages of microgrids.

The event will feature presentations on microgrids in action at universities, hospitals, retail stores, data centers, government buildings, military installations, ports, airports, communities, islands and remote regions. Special sessions will focus on utilities, the California market, electrification, microgrid engineering and microgrid finance.

Microgrid 2020 also features tours of operating microgrids at the Philadelphia Navy Yard and Villanova University.

The event will continue the popular programs that characterize the conference series, including the Microgrid Finance Connection — a platform to bring together project developers in search of financing with financiers looking for investment grade projects — and the Microgrid Greater Good Award, which acknowledges microgrids that bring societal and environmental benefits to communities worldwide.

Microgrid Knowledge editors will announce a detailed agenda in mid February.
