Time is quickly running out to save $350 with the Microgrid 2019 registration discount. January 31 is the last chance to sign up for the May 14-16 event at the early bird rate.

Excitement is heightening about this year’s conference and its planners anticipate a large audience, among them leading distributed energy companies, utilities and energy policymakers, as well as businesses, institutions and communities considering microgrids.

Microgrid 2019 is being held in San Diego, California, one of the world’s most vibrant cities for microgrids and distributed energy.

The Main Stage Agenda is now posted for Microgrid 2019!

“We’re not surprised by the strong interest we’re seeing in this year’s conference — our fourth,” said Elisa Wood, editor-in-chief of Microgrid Knowledge. “It comes at a time when a steady stream of new microgrid projects are being announced, and governments are exploring policies to encourage more — not the least of which is California, always a green energy leader and a fitting location for Microgrid 2019.”

Wood noted that participants have been registering from throughout North America, as well as other parts of the world where the microgrid industry is advancing, including Europe, Australia, and Asia.

January 31 marks two important deadlines for Microgrid 2019: It is the last day to receive a $350 discount on registration and the last day to submit a proposal to present a case study at the conference.

The deadline has passed for entry into the Microgrids for the Greater Good Award competition, which drew more than 60 nominations from throughout the world.

Microgrid 2019 offers an opportunity to:

  • Meet colleagues and customers at a luxury, waterfront venue, the newly opened Intercontinental San Diego
  • Form new partnerships with attendees from throughout North America and around the world
  • Tour advanced microgrids in San Diego, including Miramar and the University of San Diego, California
  • Learn the latest about microgrids, minigrids, nanogrids, virtual power plants, non-wires alternatives and other ‘smart’ distributed energy options in the evolving industry.
