Energy Efficiency Solicitation to be Issued June 27 for a Cincinnati, Ohio Veterans Hospital
The US Department of Veterans Affairs plans to issue an energy efficiency solicitation later this month seeking a contractor to complete a $250,000 to $500,000 project for a primary care clinic in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The project will improve thermal comfort and reduce energy use at Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
The winning bidder must provide all labor, materials, equipment, insurance, supervision and any other items required to improve energy efficiency at the medical center.
The request for proposal will be released around June 27. The response deadline is July 28.
The project must be completed based on drawings and specifications that will be provided within the solicitation documents.
A one-time only site visit will be scheduled. Information about the visit will be in the solicitation package, as well.
A 20 percent bond must be submitted with the bid. The project is expected to be completed within 200 days of the contractor receiving a notice to proceed.
A pre-proposal conference shall be held at a date, time, and location to be announced.
