The organization is backed by Microgrid Knowledge and a group of leading energy companies involved in microgrids. Hear from executive director Cameron Brooks as he lays out Think Microgrid’s mission including:

  • Focused collaboration of leading companies and thought leaders sharing a common vision
  • Pooled resources to create educational tools and shape regulatory discussions (or have them shaped by others)
  • An established unified industry voice for media and to lead constructive regulatory and public policy discussions
  • Public affairs initiative to complement and coordinate (not replace) existing advocacy efforts

This video was recorded during Microgrid 2021: The World Awakens to Microgrids, a virtual conference held over four weeks in May and June of 2021. The event featured more than 60 speakers across 20 sessions and was designed to educate sustainability and facility managers, energy decision-makers and others curious about microgrids. The overarching theme of the conference focused on the energy, financial, and sustainability benefits that microgrids can offer facilities — and society as a whole.
