Experts in Customer Engagement to Share Strategies that Help Advance Energy Efficiency

The Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP) announced their keynote panel for their fall conference which will focus on tools and technologies that drive customer engagement in energy efficiency programs. This panel consists of national experts in their respective fields who will discuss how they use tools and technologies to engage energy customers and keep them coming back for more. The participation and engagement of consumers in energy efficiency programs – both residential and commercial – is viewed as one of the key factors to achieving energy savings and energy efficiency goals.

By learning how other industries leverage customer behavior knowledge to achieve positive outcomes, attendees to the conference will acquire new insights and inspiration to implement into their energy efficiency programs. Roy Barnes, CEO and founder of Blue Space Consulting will moderate the opening keynote session which features the following panelists:

·       Somit Goyal, director of customer life-cycle management, Microsoft Business Solutions

·       Curtis Kopf, vice president of customer innovation, Alaska Airlines

·       Kirk Myers, corporate social responsibility manager, REI

·       Craig Peal, assistant vice president for energy and building controls, Costco Wholesale

The Association of Energy Services Professionals provides professional development programs, a network of energy practitioners, and promotes the transfer of knowledge and experience. Members work in the energy services industry and represent electric and natural gas utilities, public benefits associations, regulatory and nonprofit entities, vendors, manufacturers and consulting firms.
