Impact of Trump's Tariffs on Business Supply Chains
Take the EBM Business Intelligence Survey
The gradual and partial reshoring of the energy transition supply chain already was in motion over the past several years, mainly due to fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic but also economic incentives from the Inflation Reduction Act and other legislative moves.
This time around, though, President Trump’s wide ranging and global barrage of tariffs might bring around a generational change in distributed energy infrastructure and in components of microgrids. Or… it might not, depending on how long and how severe the tariffs continue in places where we currently source critical elements for solar, battery storage and microgrid technologies.
Microgrid Knowledge is part of Endeavor Business Media, which owns dozens of business to business (B2B) media brands reporting across nearly all economic sectors in the U.S. EBM’s research brand, Endeavor Business Intelligence, is conducting a survey on how the Trump tariff’s might impact various industries.
The Puls Survey can be found on this link. If you’re engaged in a part of the energy sector that connects into the global supply chain, please take a few moments to participate.
And if you’re a large-scale commercial and/or industrial enery customer facing impacts from the tariffs, please let us know, as well.
