Microgrid Knowledge is now accepting registration for Microgrid 2020 Global, a free, multimedia event that promises to be the microgrid industry’s largest worldwide gathering yet — and its most inventive.
Learn about the latest microgrid opportunities through news-broadcast style interviews with energy leaders and policymakers, livestream panel discussions, and online tours of operating microgrids. Ask questions in real time, attend exclusive ‘birds of a feather’ networking sessions, and engage with the companies making it all happen in our exhibit hall.
The interactive conference will be held over three days, November 17-19.
“This is our second virtual event, but it is very different from our first, which we held in June. Microgrid 2020 Global is not simply a conference that has been moved over to a virtual webinar platform. Instead, our team sat down and re-imagined what it means to bring an industry together virtually,” said Elisa Wood, editor-in-chief of Microgrid Knowledge. “We’ve designed an event that is not a substitute for a live conference, but something much bigger and better.”
Microgrid 2020 Global offers a platform and an agenda with something for everyone — from the seasoned microgrid expert looking to share and hone knowledge to the companies, communities and institutions researching microgrids for the first time.

The agenda begins Day 1 with an exploration of the current state of microgrid innovation. Day 2 will look at what the future promises, and Day 3 will focus on what the microgrid industry needs to do to fulfill that promise. The event will culminate with an effort to reach a consensus on industry goals for the next decade based on input from live polling and deliberations by the microgrid industry’s top thought leaders.
