Those interested in speaking at Microgrid 2018 — May 7-9 in Chicago — have less than one more week to submit their ideas to conference organizers. The deadline for the Microgrid 2018 call for speakers is Wednesday, Jan. 31.

Those interested in speaking at Microgrid 2018 — May 7-9 in Chicago — have less than a week to submit their ideas to conference organizers. The deadline for the Microgrid 2018 call for speakers is Wednesday, Jan. 31.

Microgrid Knowledge welcomes those who would like to speak, present a case study or participate in a panel discussion. The Microgrid 2018 call for speakers application form is available on the conference site.

Please note that registration also goes up by $200 after the Jan. 31 deadline, so make sure to secure your spot at the conference before Wednesday.

Microgrid 2018 conference organizers are looking for proposals that work to accelerate the microgrid market and guide new customers, as well as those that inform policymakers and improve technical, operational and financial understanding. Case studies, research, opinions and ideas are all welcomed.

Preference will be given to submissions that will elicit group discussion.

Register before Jan. 31 and attend Microgrid 2018 at a $200 discount.

Past speakers at the Microgrid Knowledge events include notable experts like Anne Pramaggiore, president and CEO of Commonwealth Edison; Michael Carlson, president of Siemens Digital Grid US; and Kevin Self, senior vice president of strategy, business development and government affairs at Schneider Electric.

Microgrid 2018 speaker slots are open to all facets of the industry, including policymakers, microgrid customers, operators, manufacturers, consultants, developers, engineer contractors, builders and more. The Microgrid 2018 content committee will notify selected speakers the week of February 19. 

Microgrid 2017 was sold out, and brought together some of the industry’s most influential members. This year’s conference theme will explore “Markets and Models for the Greater Good,” and will bring together the industry’s best once again for three days in Chicago early this spring.
