Hey, Microgrid Knowledge Readers. We’re Telling You about this before Anyone Else…

Dec. 4, 2015
Microgrid Knowledge has just released information about its first microgrid conference, May 19, 2016, in New York, an epicenter of the microgrid revolution.

The microgrid market is changing fast. Where will it go and what it will it become? If you’d like to help direct its course, join us in Manhattan May 19, 2016 for the first Microgrid Knowledge conference.

We’ll be releasing more details in the coming weeks. But here are a few important things to know about “New York and Beyond: Advancing Microgrids Nationally with Lessons Learned in New York.”

First, it’s not your usual conference.

We’ve thought long and hard about the kind of conference that offers value to our readers, the kind that will bring you — microgrid leaders and insiders — new ideas and new business. And we’ve designed this one-day gathering, with its roll-up-the-sleeves sessions,  to do just that.

Second, you’ll be in an epicenter of the microgrid revolution with many of the industry’s most active players.

With hundreds of its communities exploring microgrids — and the $40 million NY Prize in full swing — all eyes are on New York. Major energy and infrastructure companies have arrived. They are investigating opportunities, gathering partners and launching new microgrid projects.

Join us and meet the teams that are making it happen. Learn their market insights and see why the NY Prize can be a springboard to build a national microgrid market.

Brought to you by Microgrid Knowledge, this one-day event promises to spark lively debate and discussion. Panel discussions are designed to help shape and propel the microgrid market, with such topics as:

  • Getting Customers Beyond ‘What’s a Microgrid?’ to ‘I Want a Microgrid’
  • Microgrids as a Team Sport
  • Is there an Ideal Regulatory Model for Microgrids?
  • Should the Microgrid Industry Ditch Subsidies?

We’ve posted information about the conference here. And we especially want to direct you to the deadline for the early-bird discount.  We’ll update these pages in the coming weeks. But we wanted to give our readers a heads-up.

Hope to see you in New York! — Elisa Wood & Lisa Cohn, Microgrid Knowledge
