GI Energy will host a “Microgrids for Energy Resiliency in California” webinar to discuss solutions for the California market, with obvious ramifications for markets in other parts of the country affected by weather-related disasters.

The webinar will take place on Thursday, November 5th at 11am PT and will comprise a panel discussion between individuals from Bloom Energy, Pioneer Community Energy, PowerSecure, and Santa Rosa Junior College. These panelists will provide a variety of perspectives on resiliency and PSPS issues including those from communities affected directly by PSPS events and those from firms designing, developing, and providing solutions. The webinar will be moderated by two senior executives from GI Energy, a design/development company deeply involved in the renewable energy solutions markets throughout the United States. Topics will include: solutions that mitigate a lack of resiliency; financial viability of these solutions; development of renewable, scalable designs; and the navigation of obstacles to rapid commercial deployment.
