According to the Energy Efficiency Markets Annual Readership Survey, changing consumer behavior is the number one challenge for professionals involved in the energy efficiency industry.
While efforts to address U.S. energy needs often focus on developing “green energy sources,” U.S. Rep. Brian Baird feels that changing consumer behavior could reduce energy consumption by as much as 20%—in a matter of months. Tracking consumer behavior is an area that is well covered by our editorial team.
On a related note, the Energy Efficiency Markets annual readership survey found the number two challenge to be “Finding or Understanding Energy Programs and Incentives.” Our editorial team certainly is trying to help with this as well as with regular coverage on energy efficiency deals and financing, along with coverage on the latest policy and legislation.
