Media Welcome at Microgrid 2024 Conference

Feb. 29, 2024
Speakers will include top leaders from the U.S. Department of Energy's Offices of Electricity and Clean Energy Demonstrations, the Maryland Energy Administration, Spirae, Schneider Electric, Duke Energy, Exelon, and many more.

The microgrid sector is still a relatively small percentage of the overall power generation portfolio in the U.S. and the world, but it's expanding by leaps and boundless enthusiasm. Grand View Research, for example, is forecasting that the global microgrid market, which totaled about $76 billion last year, will grow 17% annually to essentially double within about five years.

This is a business trend fascinating to investors, developers, regulators, utilities, industrials, commercial customers and the media. Fox News recently focused on the expansion in microgrid deployments, while TIME magazine included distributed energy projects as its top innovators.

The media is always an important advance guard to tell the microgrid story, and we want them to feel welcome to attend and cover the Microgrid Knowledge Conference happening April 22-24 in Baltimore at the Marriott Waterfront along the Inner Harbor. Free media registration signup here.

Microgrid 2024 will contain three days of deep content around aggregated distributed energy resource (DER) projects, mission critical installations which can serve as grid services, resiliency for transportation electrification and a bulwark to project the military, university, healthcare and manufacturing sectors.

Speakers will include top leaders from the U.S. Department of Energy's Offices of Electricity and Clean Energy Demonstrations, the Maryland Energy Administration, Spirae, Schneider Electric, Duke Energy, Exelon, and many more.

The Microgrid 2024 media registration comes free of charge. Just sign up here and show up in Baltimore.

The microgrid and aggregated DER story is one worth telling again and again. It combines energy security, sustainability and avoided costs in the event of grid outages. Learn more at Microgrid 2024.
